1. About Us
Bright Momentz CIC is a Community Interest Company established to deliver small, meaningful community-based interventions, events, activities and fundraising initiatives that promote wellbeing, connection and kindness.
All profits are reinvested into community benefit in accordance with CIC regulations.
2. Use of Our Services
By engaging with our services, attending events, purchasing items, donating, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
3. Events & Activities
3.1 Participation
Participants attend events and activities at their own discretion.
Where activities involve outdoor spaces, gardening, or physical participation, reasonable care must be taken by attendees.
Bright Momentz CIC will:
- Carry out proportionate risk assessments
- Provide relevant safety information where required
- Hold appropriate public liability insurance
Participants are responsible for:
- Following safety guidance
- Informing us of relevant health conditions where applicable
- Supervising children in their care unless otherwise stated
3.2 Cancellations
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel or rearrange events due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances
- Refuse attendance where behaviour poses risk to others
Refund policies (where tickets are paid for) will be stated at time of booking.
4. Donations
Donations made to Bright Momentz CIC are voluntary and non-refundable unless made in error.
All funds are used to support the community interest objectives of the CIC.
We do not provide financial advice regarding Gift Aid. Donors are responsible for ensuring eligibility.
5. Sale of Goods (e.g., Calendars, Plants, Merchandise)
5.1 Products
We take reasonable care to ensure descriptions and images are accurate. However, natural items (such as plants) may vary in appearance.
5.2 Refunds & Returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations:
- Physical goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt (unused and in original condition).
- Custom or perishable items (e.g., live plants) may be exempt from standard returns.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
6. Wellbeing & Community Support Disclaimer
Bright Momentz CIC provides community-based support activities and reflective sessions. We do not provide:
- Medical advice
- Mental health crisis intervention
- Clinical therapy
- Legal advice
If you require urgent support, please contact relevant emergency or professional services.
7. Safeguarding
Bright Momentz CIC is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
Where activities involve vulnerable groups:
- Appropriate safeguarding measures will be followed
- DBS checks will be obtained where required
- Concerns will be handled in accordance with safeguarding policy
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, photographs and written materials remain the intellectual property of Bright Momentz CIC unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be reproduced without permission.
